This self-guided drive through numbered gates is full of hidden mysteries, filled with numerous animals that you will need to find in proper order similar to the hidden object game. This drive will take you through the canopy of the pines, and through wooded trails and paths unlocking the hidden animals along the way in their natural and sometimes unusual locations. The Safari Drive goal is to find the most animals in proper order along the way and in optimum time.
This journey is a great opportunity for you and your guests to unravel and discover the hidden wildlife of Southern Pines, well sort of, in fact we use stuffed animals. The path ahead is not fraught with danger and uncertainty, but great fun and laughs for all. Along the beautiful landscapes you will need to scope your surroundings to find the hidden animals. Driving amongst the backdrop and among the butterflies lies a small caterpillar (well maybe not that small) that hasn’t yet received its wings maybe just napping waiting to be discovered. It has been said that a Bear is often seen sitting in the rocking chair at the mysterious log cabin in the woods and perhaps BigFoot maybe lurking behind the pine trees and lions and tigers as well as an assortment of exotic creatures.
We encourage you to dress in Safari attire for the drive. The journey starts at “Base Camp” where you will be given a sheet of labels with various animals listed. As you discover the hidden and sometimes out in the open animals enjoying the beautiful sunshine in Southern Pines you will peel the label off and then input the label onto a blank sheet of paper. The labels will be placed in the order that you discover the animals. You will turn the paper in upon your return to the base camp. Not all the animals on the list may be present.
Unraveling the mystery of the Safari is fun for all ages and levels of drivers. The drive will take you through numerous stunning locations each with its own unique vibe and aesthetic. You are welcome to drive /explore it all at a walk or trot. This Safari is photo friendly, so stop and take a picture or get up close to the animals but be mindful you are timed.
If you enjoyed playing “ I spy with my little eye…” you and your guests well love this adventure.
There will also be a separate "Golf Cart " Division.
$20.00 per entry.
